A: You can save money by renting gear that you need only some of the time. You can minimize the risk of equipment failure and increase your equipment performance. Q: Why should I rent when I could just buy something from a discount store?
A: You can buy inexpensive luggage and deal with the common consequences of inexpensive luggage: fall apart handles, loose and/or broken wheels and zippers. Airline travel in particular can be tough on your luggage and you won't save money if you have to buy new bags for each trip. Even worse if the bag doesn't survive the trip! Renting sophisticated luggage affords you with peace of mind so you can enjoy your trip.top of page
Q: What makes the luggage you rent so exceptional?
A We will be renting Briggs & Riley luggage because it is proven and dependable. It has an exceptional customer following and is backed with an unconditional lifetime warranty from the manufacturer. It is warranted against airline damage, therefore, it is made to withstand the most rigorous abuse. top of page
Q: How far in advance should I make my reservation?
A: You should place your reservation as soon as you know your travel dates. Availability of equipment is confirmed when a reservation is made. top of page
A: Rental terms and conditions are clearly communicated on the back of your rental invoice. We ask that you read carefully before signing.top of page
Q: When does the rental term start?
A: It begins from the hour of scheduled pickup. top of page
Q: Are there a minimum number of days I have to rent the luggage?
A: Yes, there is a three day minimum. top of page
Q: What is your deposit policy?
A: Our rental prices are reasonable but we must be protected from the loss of the high value of our gear while it's in your possession. When you sign a rental contract, we place a reserve on your credit card for the amount of the deposit, which will be roughly the retail value of the gear. When we receive the gear back in a timely manner and in good condition * (See Loss/Damage on contract), we release the reserve. top of page
Q: What if the luggage is lost or damaged?
A: Briggs & Riley warrants against airline damage. If the luggage is lost, a formal filing must be provided. You are responsible for replacement costs. top of page
Q: What if I want to buy the luggage I rented?
A: You will receive company credit from your rental fee toward the purchase of a brand new bag should you fall in love. Many people might want to try a new line of luggage to see how it meets their needs and renting makes this possible. top of page
